You Can\'t Make This Up

this past Saturday, November 3rd, author Stu Michaels had a chance to meet and visit with some of the attendees.

And yes, that’s a witch talking to Stu. You can’t make this up!

Stu Michaels did such a good job “teaching” a lesson for the Creative Writing class at Coronado High School in Henderson, Nevada that they invited him back …

The students didn’t want to leave the class when the bell rang. They really got involved. Loads of questions – eyes riveted up front, which takes quite a skill to keep high schoolers’ attention!

Stu looks like a natural, don’t you think?

Stu stayed nice and cool at Barnes & Noble on a recent hot August day – signing books and making friends.

He was all smiles – sold out his book supply!

Recently at the Sun City McDonald Ranch Community Center, Stu wowed the crowd – and what a crowd it was – with tales about the

good (and very bad!) days of Las Vegas. After an entertaining presentation to their Literary Guild, Stusigned copies of You Can’t Make This Up! From the looks of these photos, Stu can’t wait to visit again!

Students at Coronado High School were treated to a special lesson in creative writing from author Stu Michaels, who shared the ups and downs, ins and outs, and joys and frustrations of getting a story written and published.

Stu may have had a captive audience, but he was the one who was captivated, and can’t wait to talk to students again!

Yes, that’s right! Stu’s interview on KNPR’s State of Nevada is being aired again on Labor Day. Tune in about 10:20am to 88.9, or after the Labor Day bar-b-cue at 9:30pm OR catch him in the archives as he tells his stories “behind-the-scenes.”
